Christin E. Hamilton Obituary: West Newton Woman Found Dead as Son Arrested in Pennsylvania Death Investigation
With profound sadness, we mourn the tragic loss of Christin E. Hamilton of West Newton, Pennsylvania, who was found deceased Sunday at a home on Herminie West Newton Road in Sewickley Township.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to the residence after receiving a report of an unresponsive woman. When troopers arrived, Christin was found dead at the scene.
The Westmoreland County Office of the Coroner identified her as Christin E. Hamilton. Her age was not released, and officials said the cause and manner of her death have not yet been determined.
Police later arrested Jakob Michael Korber, whom authorities allege killed his mother, Christin. Korber was taken into custody without incident at approximately 6:54 p.m. after state police had been searching for him in connection with the investigation.
