Eli Koen Obituary: 21-Year-Old Gilbertown Man Killed in Fatal Rollover Crash in Clarke County, Mississippi
With profound sadness, we mourn the tragic loss of 21-year-old Eli Koen of Gilbertown, Alabama, who lost his life in an overnight single-vehicle rollover crash in Clarke County, Mississippi.
The crash happened in the 10,000 block of County Road 420, where the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department responded after a vehicle was reported overturned. Clarke County volunteer firefighters and members of the Causeyville Volunteer Fire Department were called to the scene to assist with an entrapment.
Eli was found inside the vehicle, and emergency crews worked at the scene. Clarke County Coroner David Bonner responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The circumstances that led to the crash remain under investigation, and authorities have not yet released information about what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn.
